Choose to practise any times table from 2x to 12x (there is no mixed option). For each times table there are two levels. The first level presents the questions in order, e.g. 1 x 2, 2 x 2, 3 x 2, which makes it a great game for when you are just starting to learn a new multiplication table. There is no timer. Ghostblasters Game

Adding Games - GhostblastersA two-player game from Oswego. First choose the total you want to practise, from 5 to 99. When you see a pair of ghosts that add together to make your target number, player one hits the Z key and player two the M key. Whichever player hits the key first gets the point. If you press your key when the ghosts don't make your target number, you lose a point. Great spooky sound effects.




Safe Cracker Game

Use the X and Z to turn one dial and the left/right arrows to turn the other dial. Can you crack the safe by finding two numbers that add up to make the target number? If you answer enough questions correctly you will get a bonus asteroid-style game. ICT Games.




Speed Grid Challenge

On the first screen you can choose how many questions you want to set the challenge to and how much time you want to do it in. Then you have to choose from the grid two numbers which add up to the required total. The image on the left links to Level 1, but if that's too easy, you can always try Level 2 or Level 3. Test the Toad

In this game from BBC Schools Numbertime you have to click on the answer to the addition or subtraction sum shown at the top of the screen. You can use the people numberline to count along and help you find the answer. The toad will then hop along to right number.






Addition Surprise

Fraction Booster

An excellent fractions booster activity from BGFL. There are five levels to work through. In level 1 you simply type in the number of children to share the pizza and the pizza will be cut into fractions for you. At Level 2 you drag fractions to complete a fraction wall. In Level 3 you have to count the number of shaded squares and the total number of squares then type in the fraction (use a slash e.g. 1/4). Level 4 introduces a fraction numberline for you to drag the fractions onto. Level 5 uses a pizza to illustrate fraction equivalences.
